Based in Nairobi, Kenya, The Brighter Futures project is the result of an exciting collaboration between Jhpiego, MSD, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Kenyatta University - Kitui Campus.
With technical assistance from Jhpiego, students, deans, and health service staff at universities designed a life-planning journey and reproductive health services model that is going viral and changing lives in Kenya and beyond!
The Brighter Future project strives to empower Young Women and Men by assisting them with Life Planning and giving them access to the appropriate, acceptable, and relevant reproductive health services they need to achieve a Brighter Future.
If you live in Kenya, you can see the Brighter Futures Program in action at the Jomo Kenyatta University for Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), in Thika outside of Nairobi.
We would love to discuss creative collaborations too.
The Brighter Futures model is an innovation of Jhpiego-Kenya, an international NGO that has been working in Kenya for more than 40 years to improve reproductive health services.
The Brighter Future Program is generously supported by a grant from Merck & Co. Inc.
